Don grew up in Hendersonville, NC in Western North Carolina. After high school he went to Auburn University as a walk on wide receiver and graduated with a marketing degree in 1989. Moving to the Pensacola area after a short stint in Tampa Florida, he got into the real estate business, and quickly realized that property management was the direction he wanted to go. After working for another real estate company in the area for a number of years, he decided to open Gulf Coast Property Management Co, Inc. in 2003. The company has enjoyed great success in the over twenty years in business. In his free time, he enjoys being out on the water on their boat with his wife Trish and spending time with his two step children and his daughter who lives in New Orleans.
